In its 40th year, LiberSchool brings its expertise to various European contexts focused on education, community, and change.

From Germany to the Netherlands and all the way to Rome, we’ll be participating in workshops, open forums, and conferences where new forms of schooling and learning are being explored.

The central theme we will explore is simple yet profound: a school is not just a service for families, but can become a cornerstone of community life—a place where values, culture, responsibility, and the future are nurtured together.

We will discuss trust in times of conflict, Deep Democracy, the development of a community school, educational self-sufficiency, Gaia Schools, and field trips as learning experiences outside the classroom.

After 40 years, LiberSchool isn’t setting out to present a perfect formula. It’s setting out to share a living practice: what we’ve learned, what still challenges us, and what we hope to continue building together.
