Geographic Information and Contacts
Our school is located in Valchiusella, nestled in the Pelati Mountains Nature Reserve, just a few kilometers from Turin. The main address is Via Pramarzo 11, 10080 Baldissero Canavese (TO).
We mainly operate in Valchiusella, serving the communities of Baldissero Canavese, Vidracco and neighboring towns. However, we welcome families from all over Canavese and the province of Turin who share our educational vision.
We are easily reached by car from Ivrea in about 20-30 minutes, following the signs for Valchiusella and Baldissero. It is about an hour from Turin. We suggest you consult the Contact section for the map and exact directions.
The registered office of Liber S APS Social Promotion Association, which promotes LiberSchool, is at Via Baldissero 21, 10080 Vidracco (TO).

The hours for Nursery and Kindergarten are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The hours for Elementary and Middle are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
At this time, transportation service is not included, but we invite families to contact us to explore organized carpooling options among members in the Ivrea, Turin and Canavese area.
Parental Instruction and Method
Liberschool is a Family School (or Parent School) promoted by Liber S APS, it is not an equal or state school. We follow a Parental Education pathway for 6-14 year olds.
Yes. In order to fulfill school obligations, our students take annual proficiency examinations at an agreed upon reference school in the Piedmont region.
We welcome children in the age group of 0-6 years (Nursery and Kindergarten).
Our approach is based on the Pedagogy of Listening, Direct Experience and Contact with Nature, also inspired by the Montessori method and valuing free expression and creativity.
Yes, we also offer the Parental Education pathway for the secondary school age group (6-14 years old), with places still available for the 2025-2026 school year.
Since 2025, Liberschool has earned the Gaia School recognition, which attests to our expertise in regenerative education and the integration of social, ecological, economic and spiritual dimensions.
Absolutely. Direct contact with Nature and outdoor learning in our more than 4-hectare forest are foundational elements of our education.
Activities and Workshops
We offer Art and Manuality workshops (inspired by Bruno Munari), where children learn techniques such as clay manipulation and the use of charcoals to stimulate creative thinking.
Yes, the Theater Workshop is included in tuition and aims to develop self-esteem and stimulate creative thinking through various theatrical languages.
Yes, we offer an AFTER SCHOOL course of UMITAU (deep action) that combines ancient Western movement arts with Eastern martial arts for strength, peace, and well-being. This is an extracurricular service.
Yes, the Psychomotor Workshop is available (cost not included in tuition) and helps children develop learning, freedom of expression and adaptation through movement.
Yes, a unique project of Liberschool is the Music of Plants, where children interact with the plant world through a device that turns plant changes into musical notes.
Tuition includes Workshops and classes in Music, Theater, Art, Awareness through the Body and Experiential Physical Activity (excluding swimming pool, psychomotricity, textbooks and extracurricular activities).
Yes, Intercultural Exchanges is a project to expand the spread of knowledge between different cultures and facilitate inter-lingual learning.
Yes, meal service is mandatory and has a specific cost not included in the tuition, to ensure nutrition consistent with our principles.
The Regenerative Garden is a hands-on nature workshop where children work in synergy with nature to develop environmental awareness and learn about natural cycles.
Community and Enrollment
Certainly. Participation is open to all families who wish to undertake Parenting Education with us and are willing to travel to our office in Valchiusella.
Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year is still open, especially there are still places available for secondary school (middle school).
Yes, participation in the LiberSchool educational tracks is restricted to members of the Liber S APS Social Promotion Association.
We are a team of adults who accompany learning, conceiving of ourselves as constantly growing role models. The team includes teachers, educators, and volunteers specializing in education, theater, and wilderness education.
We are a completely self-funded parent school. Our supporters include members of the Damanhur community, families with their tuition, and our valued volunteers and allies in the “Circle of Support.”
Yes, in collaboration with volunteer professionals, we offer targeted screening and prevention projects such as orthoptic screening, dental prevention and postural screening.
