Our activities
Find out what our activities include not only for little ones, but also for mom and dad!
Itinerancy
Itinerancy is a physical journey that impacts and nurtures children’s all-around experience and experiential knowledge. It is the result of an educational approach that does not only develop theoretical knowledge, but addresses in its totality, just as life teaches us, multiple aspects of a true adventure, where the world is our home. Linked to one or more projects in our educational program.
The main objectives are:
- Developing problem solving
- Spacing yourself from your comfort zone
- Increasing group identity and sociability
- Develop affective, personal and cognitive autonomy
- Getting to know new parts of oneself and integrating them into daily life
- Develop the ability to respond positively to unexpected events
Theater workshop
Doing theater is a crucial experience for children because it combines so many goals.
The theater workshop aims to offer children a space for expression and communication, contact and socialization through the language of theater.
The educational objectives of the course are broadened and deepened depending on the age of the group. The main objectives are:
- Knowing and discovering one's emotions
- Communicating through one's body
- Overcoming one's limits and increasing self-esteem
- Stimulating creative thinking through various theatrical languages
- Knowing the stage space in relation to others and oneself
- Exploring the tools of theater: voice, gesture, rhythm, space
- Developing integration and relationship skills with others
Psychomotricity Workshop
Psychomotricity sees learning coming through the body. Closely linking action to emotion and emotion to thought. With this in mind, the movement becomes play but also rehearsal. The main objectives are:
- Exploring the freedom of one's own expression
- Develop adaptive capacity
- Valuing difficulty as a tool for discovering one's needs
Martial arts
In an ancient language, UMITAU means “Deep Action” to describe our inner discipline of movement. We offer an AFTER-SCHOOL path that embraces knowledge from the ancient Western movement arts, to Eastern martial arts, to achieve strength, peace and well-being.
Arts & Crafts
The Arts & Crafts workshop offers middle school students a hands-on immersion in the world of work. Being able to try a craft for a few days is an invaluable experience at this age, as it helps cultivate early preferences and guide future decisions.
Arts and Crafts
Learning techniques for manipulating clay, creating and using charcoals are experiences that structure creative thinking and give children the tools to express their originality. Our art path is inspired by the teachings of Bruno Munari.
